THE INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S SPORT FOUNDATION IS 100 YEARS OLD!

For this occasion, the Alice Milliat Foundation is setting up the Alice Milliat Trophies in order to highlighting the actors and actresses of women's sport in France. The trophies will be delivered during a gala that will take place in Nantes in 2021. Follow us on social media to be informed about the nominated personalities!

The International Women's Sports Federation was created by Alice Milliat in 1921 in response to the lack of female athletes at the Olympic Games. To address this, the International Women's Sports Federation organized the Women's World Games, the women's equivalent of the Olympic Games, which have had several occurrences and became very sucessful  The International Women's Sports Federation no longer exists today but remains a very strong symbol for women's sport.
