On February 24, the selection committee met to elect the three associations that would benefit from financial aid thanks to the Foundation's call for projects with Intersport. During this meeting, Gwendoline Daudet, member of the Alice Milliat collective but above all : European Champion in the women's speed skating relay over 3000m in 2020, and silver medalist in the relay at the World Championships in 2021, was a member of the jury.
At the end of the committee, three projects were selected :
The association « jouons comme elles » with the project « Kill Cup », will benefit from a 9 000 euros grant. Kill Cup is a project that aims to promote the place of women and their emancipation through sport, particularly soccer and mountaineering. The Kill Cup is a national women's soccer tournament whose winners will win a trek to Tanzania to climb Kilimanjaro
The « Association sportive fitness collectif » for the project « collective fitness », which will benefit from 4 500 euros. This project aims to promote the practice of fitness through varied sessions adapted to the female public (step, dance, muscle strengthening, pilates, cardio, stretching), 6 hours a week in public places or in schools in the Paris region.
The Association Layidù for the projet « Girl power, la rue est à nous », which will benefit from 4 500 euros. Initially, the objective of this project is to make women who do not take time for them do sports, on the place of the rue Thévenin in Sarcelles. A qualified sports coach will be on site to propose different exercises (cardio, muscle strengthening...). In a second time, "discovery" workshops will be organized to make these women discover several practices such as: boxing, double-ducth, self-defense, afro fit etc. Finally, workshops on nutrition and the environment will also be organized to give advice on healthy eating and good habits to adopt on a daily basis.
